Is Flipo really free?
Yes. No subscription, no trial, no ads.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs on your computer, and Flipo works without an internet connection.
Will it damage my original?
No. Flipo always writes a new file next to the original and never overwrites anything. You can undo the last action.
Which Windows do I need?
Windows 10 version 1809 or later, or Windows 11, 64-bit. Both regular PCs and ARM laptops work.
How do I process many files at once?
Select them and drag as usual. The action applies to each one, with progress shown in a notification.
Do I need to install anything else?
Not for images, video or audio: everything is built in. Documents, spreadsheets and slides need the free LibreOffice, and Flipo offers to install it.
Can I change the keys?
Yes. Under “Keys & gestures” in settings you can move any menu to another key.
Why does Windows warn me during install?
That is SmartScreen reacting to new apps with few downloads so far. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Only download Flipo from this site.
Will there be a Mac version?
Right now Flipo is Windows only.
Where is the source code?
Flipo is free, but its source code is closed and not published.
Do I need an account?
No. Flipo works without an account. An account on the website is only useful if you want to see your stats and hear about new versions.
