Short and plain: what you can do with Flipo and what we are responsible for.
Free to use
Flipo is free for personal and work use. You can share the link to the official installer, but please don’t distribute modified copies.
Your files
You decide what to convert, and you need the right to use those files. Flipo never changes the original and always writes a new file, but keep backups of anything important.
No warranty
Flipo is provided as is. We do our best to make it reliable, but we can’t promise it works without errors on every computer and with every file, and as far as the law allows we aren’t liable for lost data or other damage.
Third-party components
Flipo includes or uses FFmpeg (GPL), ImageMagick through Magick.NET (Apache 2.0), LibreOffice (MPL 2.0) and 7-Zip (LGPL). Their own licenses apply to them.
Account
An account is optional. Use an email address you have access to. We may block accounts used to abuse the service, for example for automated sign-ups. You can delete your account at any time.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update this page and the date below.
